St Wilfrid's C of E Primary School

We are delighted to have our very own hive of St Wilfrid’s bees! Our children have been involved at every stage of the honey-making process, learning first-hand how honey is produced. The hive is located in the grounds of St Wilfrid’s Church, and although this is our first year of producing honey, we are proud to say that we came fourth in the Frodsham Honey Show.

Producing honey takes patience, commitment and teamwork. Our beekeepers visit the hive weekly to care for the bees, and the whole school enjoys the rewards of their hard work. The result is delicious St Wilfrid’s honey!
