Equality and Diversity
‘The vision for inclusivity underpins all relationships, resulting in a loving, affable community where all flourish as children of God.’
SIAMS 2019
We believe that all children are loved by God, are individually unique and our aim is to help our pupils fulfil their potential in all aspects of their person: physically, academically, socially, morally and spiritually. We seek to educate our children through the guiding principles of wisdom, hope, respect and dignity.
Black History Month
Black History Month is an important time in our calendar year for our children and staff to explore the many ways in which black people have made a difference to our world and our lives. This year we welcomed Tina Ramos into school, who is a National Lottery funded artist, to work with our Year 1 and Year 4 children on a project to celebrate black athletes. The children's work was then displayed in an Exhibition in Warrington Museum. Our KS2 children also enjoyed taking part in a national webinar on Black History and each year group has learnt about some different black people who have made an impact on the world and played their part in the fight for equality.
