School Sports Funding
What is Sports Premium?
The government are investing over £150 million a year to improve P.E teaching and sporting opportunties in schools. Each school receives £,8000 plus an extra £5.00 per pupil. We receive in the region of £10,000 a year. This money can only be spent on sports and p.e provision in schools.
We are committed to using this funding to improve sport and p.e teaching at St Wilfrid's. The money will benefit all pupils regardless of their sporting ability.
